Upcoming 2015-16 Kettunen Center 4-H workshops

The best kept secret in the 4-H world is Kettunen Center 4-H educational workshops, which are held year-round.

Looking for an educational program about specific 4-H projects? Kettunen Center, Michigan’s 4-H leader training facility located in Tustin, Michigan, is just the answer. Monthly workshops are held beginning in October and run year-round in many of the 4-H areas geared to specific projects of your choice.

Youth and adults are welcome to attend any of the 4-H leader and teen leader trainings. The class schedule is listed on the 4-H website, so be sure to check out one that may interest you. Look under the 4-H volunteer workshops and it will give you a listing of this year’s workshops and dates.

A favorite workshop that has grown over the past couple of years is the 4-H Winterfest. This two-day overnighter is open for youth ages 8-12 years old and is very popular. Youth have the opportunity to learn so many life skills and learn about different 4-H projects they might not have back in their county. Be sure to save the date of Feb. 6-7 now for this great event - it has filled up fast. Information on what is being offered will come out in January 2016.

The 2015-16 Michigan 4-H Volunteer Training Series is supported by the Michigan 4-H Foundation with gifts made by donors and supporters. The following workshops are being offered:
